Expert. Integrated. Innovative.

With you every step of the way.

Scrubs-whBkgrndWe are a group of dedicated physicians who sought to fill a gap in chronic pain care when we started our practice in 2007. After years of treating chronic pain patients in a hospital setting, we came together to find a better, more patient-centric concept to treat and manage pain. We carefully designed an integrated practice that makes it easier on patients to receive care from multiple specialists working closely together, all in one place.

Chronic pain can be complicated and treatments, confusing. But there are several ways to approach and manage your condition. We believe that there is always an answer—And with understanding, patience and pain management expertise, we can help you achieve your best quality of life.

Integrated, customized care

Pain issues can affect your life in many ways. That’s why we begin with a comprehensive evaluation to create your personal plan of care. Our goal is to empower you to choose the right treatment options that work best for you.

Our experts in pain medicine, internal medicine, anesthesiology, physiatry, physical therapy, sleep medicine, neurology, psychology and behavioral therapy work with you to decide which treatments and procedures meet your unique needs. This integrated approach makes us different from every other pain management program in New England.

Collaboration with you

Not only does our team of physicians and clinical staff work together, we work hand-in-hand with you. We listen and take the time to explain your whole plan of care so that every decision you make is informed—so that you are as comfortable as you can be.

Your best quality of life

We can’t promise to cure you, but we can promise that we will do everything we can to help you manage your chronic pain. Together, we’ll explore treatment options to reduce your pain levels. Our goal is always to improve your quality of life and get you back to the activities that you enjoy.

It’s time to believe in getting better.

On your first visit to Boston PainCare, our highly trained professionals will perform a comprehensive assessment. You’ll meet with our physical performance medicine specialist who will use high-tech measurement tools to test your level of strength and range of motion. With this kind of technology, we’ll be able to track your progress as you undergo therapies. And you’ll be able to put hard numbers to your pain levels and functionality improvements—something you’ll rarely find at other pain management programs.

Easier on you

We understand that living with chronic pain can be a daily challenge. The last thing you need is frustration with your care providers about scheduling or communication. From the moment you step into our office or hear our voice over the telephone, we will do our best to help you with your needs and requests. Feel free to let us know how we can make your experience better. That’s what we’re here for.

Empowering you

Patient education is an important responsibility for any disease, but it’s especially helpful for pain management. When you know what your body is going through, you can better focus on the things that can improve your quality of life. Because knowledge is a powerful means of support, we want you and your family to be armed with the most relevant information on wellness, coping, and pain management.

Cutting edge research

Boston PainCare and Boston Headache Institute are proud to be a part of multiple, ongoing clinical research studies and be able to offer opportunities to our patients to participate in these studies. These clinical research studies provide individuals with the chance to access promising new treatments, often not yet available.
