Boston PainCare

July 2017 Patient Spotlight

9 years ago, Suzanne was watching the news saw a report about a pain clinic in New York. She had never knew there was such a thing. After contacting her doctor and learned of a place in Waltham with good reviews, she was referred to Boston PainCare for an evaluation.

Suzanne had suffered with pain for over ten years and had gone through everything she could think of to try to alleviate the symptoms: acupuncture, shiatsu, feldenkreis, chiropractors, homeopathic herbs, massage, countless doctors /specialists and MRI's.

Suzanne describes how she was so fed up being told that it was either in her mind or nothing could be done ..because nothing was apparent. She feels there are so many people who suffer from chronic pain that isn't the result of an accident or something they can point to as the direct cause. "These people are living lives of quiet desperation because their pain is not taken seriously when doctors are unable to think outside the box contained in MRI's and X-rays”

Suzanne says "I can't thank Dr. Bazoberry and all the staff members enough for their care and dedication in creating a safe and non-judgmental environment for people to come to share and deal with chronic pain. I recommend Boston PainCare to anyone and everyone I meet who is dealing with pain and living life less large because of it”
