Meditation and Mindful Action

compassAn exciting new workshop led by one of our Behavioral Health Specialists given on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

This workshop will offer mindfulness meditation practices along with specific techniques for coping with pain and stress in daily life. Research over the past 30+ years has shown these practices to be beneficial for chronic pain, stress, depression, and insomnia.

Each workshop will include:

  • Meditation practice in a supportive atmosphere
  • Skills training and practice
  • Group discussion
  • Resources and encouragement of home practice
